Modifications

Water Pump

You may not be able to notice the difference between our modified water pump and a standard pump, but your cross-shaft gears definitely will. Our water pump modification reduces cross shaft gear loadings considerably. By using ceramic seals and stainless steel ball race bearings they require no maintenance or lubrication. They are available for all models 3L, 4½L, 6½L, Speed Six and 8L. We have modified over 250 water pumps to date and if necessary can re-engineer your pump in a matter of days.

Oil Filter

All engines, whether newly re-built or recently resurrected from a barn, will benefit from having proper oil filtration. Keeping your engine oil clean is essential. Our stylish adapter will filter your oil using a modern filter and comes with the added safety of a by-pass valve so it never restricts the oil flow. The modern filter is readily available and easy to fit. Available for late 3L, 4½L, Speed Six and 8L models. We can also modify early 3L oil canisters - call for details.
